1. Primer Design in the Bio Tools Collection
Primer Design is now available in the Bio Tools Collection,
allowing you to design primers based on your needs without
leaving the software.
2. Finding Primer Binding Sites while Creating and Editing
Primers
In VectorBee 3.1.0, we support finding primer binding sites
while creating or editing primers. You can click the Find
Binding Sites option to quickly access the Find Primer Binding
Sites feature and identify potential binding sites for your
primer sequence in real time.
3. Seamless Transfer from Simulate Enzyme Digestion to Simulate
Agarose Gel
In VectorBee 3.1.0, we have introduced a Simulate Agarose Gel
option within the Simulate Enzyme Digestion feature. This allows
you to quickly transfer the selected restriction digest plan
into an agarose gel project for more intuitive visualization.
4. Visualize Inserted Sequences in Chromatogram Samples within
Alignment Projects
In VectorBee 3.1.0, you can click to view the inserted sequence
in chromatogram samples within alignment projects.
5. Renumber Sequence from 1
We have introduced a new feature to renumber your sequence,
which allows you to quickly reset the sequence start position of
current project at 1.
6. Export Samples Separately from Alignment/Dot Plot/Agarose Gel
Project
You can now export samples separately from your alignment, dot
plot, or agarose gel project using the Export to VectorBee File
feature.
7. More Flexible Display Settings
In VectorBee 3.1.0, we provide more flexible display settings,
including more primer naming formats for the Find Primer Binding
Sites feature, more minimap styles in alignments, and sequence
only or map only display mode, delivering a more customizable
experience tailored to your needs.
7.1 More Primer Naming Formats for the Find Primer Binding Sites
Feature
We provide multiple primer naming formats in the Find Primer
Binding Sites feature in VectorBee 3.1.0. You can set your
preferred primer naming format in Preferences or adjust it
during individual edits in the feature.
7.2 More Minimap Styles in Alignment Projects
You can choose minimap styles as needed in VectorBee 3.1.0. You
can set your preferred styles in Preferences or adjust it in
individual projects.
7.3 Sequence Only or Map Only Display Mode
You can set the display mode to sequence only or map only in
Preferences in the latest version of VectorBee. You can also
adjust these settings in individual projects.
Minor new/optimized features:
1. Copy Feature with primer and style annotations.
2. Search for all matches or literal matches in the Find Similar feature.
3. Find query sequence on top/bottom strand in alignment project.
